Joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1968. Served for 32 years and had a wonderful Career. Travelled the world and got to meet some amazing people. My wife and I are now both retired, she was a Family Doctor for 43 years and we have been married for 33 wonderful years. We did not have any children but have had pets ever since we met, mostly dogs....big dogs.....2 Irish Setters and 2 Russian Wolfhounds at the same time. Two Siberian Huskies....a Collie Shepard mix...a Jack Russell Terrier, A Coyote/Husky mix and now a Golden Retriever 12 years old and a 3 year old Cat........... We live on a beautiful Island in Lake Huron, Manitoulin Island, right above a lake, surrounded by 5 acres of Maple trees.My wife is an avid Horseback rider and we have had many horses at nearby farms...two have just gone off for training.
We love to travel, we go the Caribbean every winter and sometimes Florida and also visit my relatives who live in California.

I was small for my age...5ft 6 and weighed about 130 lbs, so I could not play football, so I tried out for the wrestling team........ did very well until I wrestled an opponent with Impetago...guess what...end of my wrestling career. Ironically my dad was a Professional Wrestler and taught me a lot of good moves, well I tried out for the Tennis team( Jack Hunter was my opponent out side of school)...not quite good enough. But got the bug and played pretty well for the next 30 years. Played a lot of Sports in the military, tennis, softball, flag football, rugby and soccer and of course curling!!!!!!!!
