Attended SFU then BCIT then UBC Executive Programmes as a mature student;
Worked 10 yrs in Road Construction then 12 yrs in Charter/Contract Bus Operations Management in Vancouver and in Toronto then 24 yrs in local Transit Operations Management; Retired - now do volunteer work for Richmond Hospital Auxiliary plus acting gigs each year as a Standardized Patient for UBC Faculty of Medicine; also spend 3 - 4 months each summer/fall at our family cabin
located on Okanagan Lake, enjoying the good life fishing, swimming, and just hanging out with my Sisters and Brothers and their families;
Got married, eventually in 1982, and helped my wife raise two beautiful multi-talented actor daughters who are now married and living close to us in Steveston;
Played Senior Men's Fastball for 20 yrs until Coaching my daughters fastball teams became a priority - Coached the same group of girls for 17 yrs; left the game for awhile then went back as a 65 yr old rookie Umpire which I still do;
Since retiring, my golf game has improved significantly and I am an active member of Country Meadows Senior Mens Golf Club; As a member at Minoru Seniors Centre, I play cards a few times a week during the winter months; Lastly, after having quintuple by-pass heart surgery in 2001, I do cardio workouts at least twice a week year round; For more information on The Life of Norm - ask my wife.
